While it seems we are starting to come out the other end of the pandemic, unfortunately Covid is still present and there are still threats posed to the general public. For this reason, we do have a few rules in place for clients who are visiting our surgery:

  • Masks must be worn at all times. If you are exempt then we kindly ask that you stay outside of the consulting room while we examine your animal.
  • Social distancing must be observed while in the building. This applies to both members of staff and members of the public. At busy times in reception we may ask people to wait outside or in their cars until the area is less full of people. Please bear with us in these situations.
  • If you or any member of your household has symptoms of Covid-19 or has tested positive within the past 7 days then we kindly ask you not to come into the practice but to stay at home (as per government advice). If your animal is unwell and you cannot leave the house, please give us a call on 01480772950 in the first instance. It may be that either a video consultation or getting a person who is not a member of your household to bring the animal in would be best.
  • We are following enhanced cleaning protocols while the pandemic is ongoing, so it may be that there are small delays between consults while the rooms are thoroughly cleaned.
  • All our staff are fully vaccinated and boosted and regularly take lateral flow tests. In the event that a member of staff comes down positive for Covid, then rest assured, we have back up staff to ensure that there is minimal loss of services to you and your pets
